Mimi the Sardine makes earth- and family-friendly, playful and cool eating accessories for children and beautiful eco-coated tablecloths for your home.

Their signature cotton fabrics are designed in Sweden, produced in Europe and our products are manufactured outside San Francisco. All fabrics are spill-resistant, machine-washable, meet the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard and are made without harmful chemicals.

All kids products are made with 100% organic cotton!

Their world-class Swedish designs emphasize fun, while the quality, durability, and easy care of our fabric make you and our planet happy! Our cotton has a water-based acrylic coating (not PVC). It is permanently water, soil, and mess resistant yet remains soft and supple. Simply wipe clean or machine wash warm. Hang dry or tumble dry low. Iron on back with smooth damp cloth between the product and iron.

The coated fabrics meet the CPSIA requirements, and the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard which certifies that the cloth does not contain harmful chemicals and components. Oeko-Tex 100 is highly regarded in Europe and is now gaining recognition in the United States. Mimi the Sardine is now using 100% acrylic-coated organically grown cotton, an important step in their continued commitment to the environment and our customers (you may find some non-organic leftovers in our outlet).
