Best for Babies opened in 2008 by Sydney Warm Tasner, a mom with a vision to provide an unmatched, hands-on shopping experience for parents with the best products on the market. Products she’d feel comfortable using with her own children. With a focus on unique nursery furniture options, highly rated gear, responsible feeding solutions and gifts to accent any baby’s room, Syd’s aim was to help you create a one of a kind safe-haven for your new arrival.

In August of 2010, Lizzie Levin came on board as Sydney’s partner to help spread the word about this gem of a company. For the past 10 years, Sydney and Lizzie’s friendship has been founded in honesty, laughter, family and fun…the same platform of Best for Babies. We hope you come join in the Best for Babies family.

A Bit More into our World


Sydney Raye Warm Tasner dreamed about opening a baby boutique, even before having children of her own. With a background in working with children, Sydney has always taken special care when dealing with concerned parents. So when it came time for her to shop for her sister's and friends' new babies (and later her own babies), she was frustrated to find that many stores provided poor customer service and lacked guidance in helping parents find the best products for their little ones. From these experiences, along with her love of children, the concept of Best For Babies was born. With her store, not only did she want to help parents find products that make their lives easier and fit their specific needs, but she also wanted to be able to give back to the community, which is something that has always been very important to her. Sydney lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, David, and sons, Alex and Bennett.

Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Marnie Levin and her husband Jason are recent transplants from Chicago. After years of working in corporate America with a background in Marketing and Business Management it was time to put her years of experience to the test. With her years of researching and evaluating industry and market trends for one of the top ten Fortune 500 companies Lizzie prides herself in finding new and innovative ways to bring the latest market trends to Best for Babies. When her nephew and niece were born, Lizzie absolutely fell in love with them and with surrounding them with the latest and greatest gifts. Having always wanted to open up her own boutique, going into business with Sydney seemed the perfect fit.
